Highlights of 2015 – Part 2

We continue now through the middle of 2015 looking at the themes of each month.

May

Following on from Anzac Day where we described the terrible conditions of the trenches, we then moved to the modern day. Trench mouth or ANUG still occurs today. This occurs through a severe lack of care and poor general health. Our blog articles explained the treatment and prevention of this debilitating condition.

The rest of May continued the focus on the Child Dental Scheme categories of treatment. The scheme does not cover all aspects of treatment and the blog series explained what it does cover and any restrictions for certain treatments. This time the blogs covered Extractions & Surgery, and Root Canal Treatments.

June

We continued with the Child Dental Scheme treatments, this time noting Restorative Services.

Then my web developers delivered the pleasing news that we had passed 200 blog articles and this should be marked in some way. So Seymour Dental ran a series on the different aspects of the practice and its people and other fun stuff. This also included some travelling away from the practice. Yes, there is life outside of Seymour Dental!

July

The continuation of the 200 blog series continued with a focus on our mission on the website and introducing the concept of Blog Series. This is a way of grouping various themed blogs into a type of web linked chapter. This will give it the feel of a story rather than searching though fragmented bits of information.

Lastly for July we introduced Joy into the Seymour Dental family.
