WE DID IT! Team Wairoa ran through the crowds, became part of the crowd, and finished. I nearly got run over by a person in a wheel chair and babies in prams were in the semi fast group (really!).
We lost Roni in the after finished crowds with poor mobile reception so she went missing in action! I will let you know over the next week how much we raised. BIG THANKS TO EVERYONE. IT’S ALWAYS WORTH THE BLOOD, SWEAT AND TEARS, (well no blood this time).
The photos show us at the beginning, then a picture of a helicopter watching us pounding the deck, then down the corkscrew, enjoying the post-race feast at City Extra, and finally how we all feel now DEAD.
