As we came out of winter into spring the Seymour Dental staff were very busy, but they were also active outside practicing for a good cause!
August
We introduced Sherwin to the team as a dental student/nurse. Then our annual fund raising event of the Sydney Harbour Bridge Run to raise money for Dr Seymour son’s Special School Wairoa.
Dr Seymour managed to get away for a short holiday to Port Douglas revealing the only types of cupcakes a dentist would recommend!
August closed out with our highlights of passing our 200th blog post with the introduction of the “Blog” series. The first of the blog series was then posted on x-rays.
September
More instalments of the blog series were posted to the website. These series are a way of grouping themed posts into one easily accessible link to view all these posts. The series we explored were on diet, meet the team, cracked teeth and the examination, charting and the treatment plan.
Dr Seymour trained and ran this year with nurse Roni and Dr Kim Nguyen for the Bridge Run for the Wairoa School. Then the run was on with Team Wairoa and start of the run was experienced in a posting.
October
We completed the Team Wairoa run. Thank you to all that donated and run for the school over the years. There is more to life with Seymour Dental!
The blog series continued with a day in the life of a dental nurse, a day in the life of a dental student, and medical emergency course.
October closed out with a day in the life of dental nurse, Maggy.
It was a very busy but rewarding time in the practice.
