Highlights of 2015 – Part 4

We are nearing the end of 2015 of what has been a busy year full of changes and surprises, but always interesting. I am very honoured to work with a team who are dedicated and always willing to learn. The world is changing so rapidly and trying to keep up is stressful in itself!

November

The blog series continued with the Patient Guides or Welcome to Seymour Dental which explains what we are about and how we treat out patients to achieve life-long change for the better. Every year there is a major campaign by the Dental Association to highlight a certain aspect of dentistry and this is covered under the blog series Dental Health Week and Month.

A three part series on the day in the life of a dental nurse – Roni – closes out the month. She highlights the work a dental nurse does during the day, from the morning, the middle of the day and the end of the day, including the important role of infection control and sterilisation.

The beginning of the month we thanked all the supporters of Wairoa Special School Bridge Run for 2015 where $3,700 was raised.

Also the runners who had helped make it the most successful run ever, especially Roni and Kim. The blog also covered the changes for James in 2016.

Blog series on What is Decay and Cleaning Teeth was covered. Very important subjects for a dental practice and the patients!

Merry Christmas from all of us as the Seymour Dental team celebrated Christmas dinner together. The year has been extraordinary.

Seymour Dental is very thankful for the patients, many of whom we have known for many years. It’s always a privilege to work with great staff and to help people improve their lives.
