Happy New Year – Highlights of 2016 – Part 2

May

The continuation of the blog series’ with – Extractions, Warnings and Instructions, What Nurses Do, Treatment of Ulcers, Wonderful World of Dentures, & Dentist at Large. Each of these are a grouping of blog links about the main title of the blog series. That means, articles that a patient may not think are relevant or known, are added to the links which the dentists finds important, except, of course, the fun blog series.

June

This month saw blog series’ on When a Crown Comes Off, Hello Renovations, & Bleaching. As June is also the height of winter contact sports an important blog about mouth guards was posted.

July

Our motto – “At Seymour Dental, we are dedicated to providing personal care to assist you in achieving excellent health outcomes for life!” – was embellished with the blog series Welcome to Seymour Dental, followed by the interesting blog series on Bad Breath which unfortunately we can all relate to. Then one of our dental student/nurses Mary wrote a blog on her rural placement with the gritty Slaying Decay in Bowral. Then we celebrated the end of the month with the blog series – Our 200th Blog Post!

August

This month had Dental Health Week with the important topic of Women and Oral Health. A four part series was written by Roni.

Part 1 – Dental Health & Puberty;

Part 2 – Menstruation & Use of Oral Contraceptives;

Part 3 – Pregnancy & Menopause; and

Part 4 – Other Considerations & Prevention.

The month ended with Team Wairoa becomes Team Miroma – Fund Raiser with the team of runners from Seymour Dental, Roni, Kim and Joy as well as, yes, Anthony, the father of James, with the aim of raising awareness of the adults with disabilities, as well as funds.
