Dental Student / Nurse beginning his career – All the best Kevin
At the end of 2025 we farewell, with sadness, Kevin our Dental Student/Nurse. However, it’s with gladness as he is graduating to become Dr Kevin Wu, dentist with a log career ahead of him. I hope he has learnt from the dentists in the practice and the nurses as well. Kevin has been with us for some 23 months and two Christmas celebrations.
This young dentist to be has a fun, attentive and professional attitude to the practice and the patients. He is always learning and asking questions. Working as part of a team is no problem for him. The staff really like him. I like him as well.
He has learnt dental nursing skills in the surgery, as well as following steilising and infection control protocols.
He has a great rapport with the patients and the team at Seymour Dental.
He enjoys being mentored and the Saturday morning nursing is a welcome break from university studying and its pressures on fulfilling requirements.
We have followed his stresses of being a dental student:
- The long hours
- The exams
- The lack of sleep
- Dealing with patients at the various Dental Hospitals
- Understanding a lot of Dental Stuff!!!!
“Wow there so much to know!” Yep, that’s right Kevin.
Now you must have managed to “know” as you are graduating very soon to become a dental colleague!

As part of the many years of hiring dental students for dental nursing and for the opprtunity to mentoring them, Seymour Dental welcomes Angela to the team.
Angela is already an experienced dental nurse and receptionist, however she is willing to learn more and to be mentored in clinical practice. She already has started to contribute to the practice.
