Big Thank You from Team Sunnyfield 2026
Yes, the inspiration is my son James and Sunnyfield and the breast cancer runners. Everyone doing what they can for the good of humanity.
James says thank you below…
It was a hot day and the lead-up in training and organising was shorter than we like due to the uncertainty, BUT the support was incredible!
We are so humbled.
Also, to my wife Eva for her total commitment to James, which at times has been difficult. The providers and his past schools thank you for their service and support.
Hopefully, we have raised awareness of adults with special needs, with the hope they will be cared for and supported all their lives, in a fulfilling way. That’s difficult, to say the least.
We ran along the harbour seeing Luna Park and the bridge. I finished before they kicked me off the course, exhausted, but glad to finish and bite on a medal in the shade with Elena.
Finishing off with a nice lunch, with Eva joining us, and Ellie. Elena was on her bike to another celebration of life. Always on the move.
A healthy life is always to keep moving… with friends and family along for the ride.
